A Tearful Tribute to Our Revered Badi Didi, Daughter of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, H. H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji

We, the Ashramwasis, offer our heartfelt and tearful tribute to our revered and deeply loved Badi Didi. Words cannot capture the depth of our feelings as we remember her radiant life, a reflection of devotion, simplicity, and selfless service.

With tearful eyes, we recall her compassionate smile, the divine joy she exuded while listening to Sankeertans with closed eyes and raised hands with slight trace of dancing motion, happiness she exuded while showering us – whether with sweets, gifts, or warm encouraging words. These vivid memories of her tender care and nurturing love assure us of her eternal presence in our hearts.

Every morning, her presence during the Aarti was a source of inspiration for us. On occasions when she showed strictness to reprimand us for not attending the morning sessions on time, her own heart would soften, and tears would well up in her eyes as if she was worried, she might have been too harsh. This revealed the depth of her gentle and compassionate nature

Her constant guidance, “Think only of Shri Maharajji, immerse yourself in his devotion, chant Radhe Radhe always!” continues to bind us in the Sewa, Sadhna, and grateful remembrance of Shri Maharajji who gave us this precious sister as a divine gift.

She welcomed new Ashramwasis with open arms, showering them with warmth and thoughtful gifts. Often, she would personally offer them delicacies, ensuring they never felt the absence of their homes.  Inviting new Ashramwasis to Mussoorie, she would personally gift them sweaters, garlands of flowers, and lovingly serve them food with her gentle, tender hands.

Always approachable, she was a guiding light, resolving problems and easing mental struggles for both young and old. To everyone, she became a nurturing motherly figure, embodying care and compassion in every interaction.

Her unparalleled contributions to Maharajji’s mission shine as a beacon of devotion and dedication. She blessed us with countless opportunities to serve—whether during the construction of the Vrindavan hospital, Prem Bhawan, or the completion of the divine Kirti Mandir, adorned with the sacred deities of Kirti Maiya, small cute child Radha, Shri Radha Krishna, and Shri Sita Ram. Through her inspiring leadership, she elevated every act of service, transforming our humble efforts into celestial offerings.

Badi Didi’s dedication extended to all festivals, making them divine celebrations. Her compassion touched widows, monks, and students, and her courage in facing challenges inspired all.

Even amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, she uplifted our spirits with her unwavering care and grace. From the window of Shri Nikunj, she blessed us daily with her darshan, showering us with holy water, flowers, and chocolates, turning each day into a joyous celebration.

We will miss the evenings, when the guard’s whistle sounded, we would rush, knowing that Didi’s car was arriving and she would be heading to the canteen.

On the way, she would pause to listen with graceful attention and smile to someone’s poetic expressions. If she encountered an elderly person, she would inquire about their well-being. For someone returning after a long time, she might gently scold them, and if it was someone new, she would promptly ask where they were from, encouraging them with, “Keep coming, and focus on your Sadhana.”

Her tireless dedication to the well-being of Ashramwasis was evident in her compassionate actions—ensuring the best medical treatments were available, whether locally at her hospitals or unhesitatingly arranging care at Delhi’s top facilities when needed. Her boundless kindness and selflessness knew no limits.

Beloved Badi Didi, we, your Ashramwasis, feel blessed to have been part of your divine family. Though we cannot comprehend the depth of your divinity, we understand that every moment of your life unfolded according to Shri Maharajji’s divine will.

We believe that even your incident of departure to the divine abode was a carefully chosen by you and aligned with Shri Maharajji’s divine plan, to impart a profound lesson to us—reminding us of the fleeting nature of life and the eternal significance of devotion and divine grace.

While we bear the deep sorrow of your physical absence, we remain profoundly grateful for the wisdom imparted through this momentous Leela. This divine act has left an indelible impact on our hearts, inspiring us to remain ever-alert in our Sewa and Sadhna, avoiding distractions and unnecessary pursuits.
Such is the transformative power of your this Leela, that it may lead many to realization of their ultimate divine goal.

We pledge to honor your memory by fulfilling the wishes and obeying the commands of our dearest Manjhli Didi and Choti Didi with utmost attention, care, and devotion. With tearful gratitude and reverence, we bow to you, our beloved Badi Didi. Please continue to bestow your grace upon us.
